I British Columbia i Canada brukte First Nations People unike og vakkert utsmykkede tradisjonelle bokser til å oppbevare sine mest dyrebare eiendeler. Disse boksene er kjent som "Bentwood Boxes". Veggene i Bentwood-boksene er laget og formet av bare ett enkelt stykke cedertre - Western Red Cedar.

Bentwood-boksene er utsmykket med symboler med sin egen betydning og historie, som eieren avboksen kan identifisere seg med.
